Japanese sample

This was the first draft I did for the writing sample. Yoko, my language partner, looked at it in class and made some suggestions.



This is my first writing sample for Japanese. it is a self introduction. You read it from up to down, right to left.

This is me.

My name is Yolanda Altabert. I am studying Journalism and Audivisual Communication at Antonio de Nebrija University, in Madrid (Spain). But this year is special because I am doing an exchange program. I will live and study at Drake University, in Des Moines, Iowa (U.S.).

This picture was taken only two months ago. It was during the summer family trip, with my mother, father and brother. We rented a house trailer and made travelled over the north of Spain for 11 days. This picture was taken in Salamanca, an ancient city, very famous for its University.
